The MMO world needs something like Star Wars: The Old Republic to come out more often. Over the past few months, we've seen most of the major studios stumble over each other in their struggles to stem the assumed tide of players to BioWare's entry into the genre, and almost every one has announced a striking content update worthy of attention. Now it's Trion's turn. Even the assiduous studio, Trion's offerings for Rift's Patch 1.6 include a massive new zone crammed with new creatures and dynamic events, a new 5-man dungeon, a new content offering known as an "Instant Adventure," and even a nifty mobile app that allows for a considerable degree of interaction with Telara beyond the game. All in all, it's nothing short of a mini expansion.
