| | Date: 2003/3/28 | Description : Circus Maximus is packaged in two separate parts, the map download which includes only the terrain data and textures, and the missions download which includes objects and mission parameters. You should only have to download the terrain package once. You will have to download any new missions or revisions.
If you have been sent here by a server, yet you have installed the latest and greatest map and missions, then the server's files are out of date and you should inform the server's operator to grab the lastest files from this site.
Click on the link to download and run the installation file. Follow the directions to setup the component.
Players score points by making progress around the track. Each yellow line crossed counter-clockwise earns 1 point. A full lap is worth 4 points.
The race is over when the first person to run the designated number of laps crosses the finish line. For example, a two lap race is won by the first player to score 9 points (2 laps and then finish line).
There are no points for kills, damage, or suicides. However, getting killed resets your score to zero!
Both Teams and Individual Players (Gladiators) mode of play are supported.
